About the role
Role Overview
Senior Product Manager for Chainguard's Containers product line. You'll work closely with developer customers and security stakeholders to define and build the future of the container images platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategy, roadmap, and product execution to streamline how developers adopt and build with Chainguard Container Images
- Lead projects from ideation through launch and beyond, iteratively unlocking new customers and improving the product
- Gather and respond to quantitative and qualitative feedback; measure effectiveness and pivot when needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Marketing, UX, and other teams
- Represent the company externally with customers, prospects, partners, and industry analysts
- Own outcomes with hands-on execution and delivery
Requirements
- Technical depth: Must establish credibility with developers and speak their language
- Prior experience as a developer, or proven success in systems, networks, or adjacent highly technical areas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record engaging deeply with customers and owning outcomes
- Ability to adapt and work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Linux software packaging and/or container image building experience
- Experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks (FedRAMP, STIGs, FIPS, etc.)
