About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager at BusRight, you will serve as the connective tissue between the voice of the customer and the engineering team. You'll collaborate across all functional areas including sales, engineering, product, design, and strategy to ensure every decision aligns with the company's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Metrics: Track product engagement and performance metrics; ensure all company decisions are aligned with product data insights

    • Users & Permissions: Define and scale the identity and access model across BusRight's multi-product suite, including roles, permissions, and access controls
    • SIS Integrations: Lead strategy and execution of Student Information System integration layer, owning product experience for API and SFTP-based data exchange
    • Reporting & Analytics: Define and drive the reporting product, identifying key metrics and building actionable reporting experiences for administrators and transportation directors
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and participate in agile ceremonies, fostering clear communication and collaboration
  • Mentorship: Serve as a product-focused mentor for the Engineering team; periodically code proofs of concept for new ideas and design use cases for testing
  • Roadmap Management: Define roadmaps collaboratively with product peers and maintain institutional knowledge on product decisions
