Senior Product Designer - Media Platform, Experience Design

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer on the Enterprise Experience Design team within the Content Business Product Foundations department. This newly formed team designs horizontal solutions powering Netflix's core business products including access management, notifications, data management, and search.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams (Product Design, Content Design, Product Management, Engineering, Research, Operations) to advance the business
• Execute across all design stages: user research, workflow mapping, ideation, concept development, validation, prototyping, visual design, and implementation support
• Conduct generative user research and deeply understand user needs
• Create end-to-end user experiences that simplify complex technical systems
• Lead usability testing and iterative design refinement
• Develop systematic solutions connecting user needs, data, business goals, and strategy
• Collaborate with engineers to build products within technical and timeline constraints
• Facilitate cross-functional work sessions with all stakeholder levels
• Advance product design discipline across the organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise software product design experience
• Proven track record designing and shipping enterprise/B2B experiences scaled to thousands of users with successful global outcomes
• Experience in foundational technology (access/security) or developer experience preferred
• Strategic thinking with ability to articulate product vision
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity balancing user, technology, and business needs
• Solid understanding of fundamental coding principles and best practices
• Strong human-centered design process
• Ability to collaborate effectively with highly technical teams

Work Arrangement

• USA remote with quarterly travel to California (LA or Los Gatos), NYC, or Seattle
• PST hours required regardless of location
