Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer at Forward Financing, responsible for creating world-class digital experiences across complex applications serving small business owners, financial institutions, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Product Managers to understand user needs, wants, and preferences
• Design new product features end-to-end: ideation, iteration, prototyping, user testing, and production across all screen sizes
• Create design artifacts including sketches, wireframes, comps, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Balance business impact with UX/UI details including typography, layout, and interactions
• Evolve and consolidate design systems and component library with intuitive patterns
• Conduct design reviews and seek stakeholder feedback
• Lead user research or partner with researchers to translate customer insights into features

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products
• Advanced English fluency
• Proficiency in Figma and design systems (including Auto Layout)
• Ability to design polished, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes with attention to detail
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with product managers and engineers
• Strong written, verbal, and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions
• Learning mindset with ability to self-start and own problems
• Online portfolio with web design samples
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
