Senior Linux Systems Administrator & DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Senior Linux Systems Administrator & DevOps Engineer responsible for entire verticals of operations within a high-growth infrastructure team. You will coordinate with team members to develop, maintain, and optimize large-scale distributed systems while gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and optimize Linux OS-based servers on both cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure
• Manage containerized applications and orchestration across the infrastructure
• Coordinate with team members to communicate, develop, and maintain large-scale systems
• Perform Linux operations and system administration using tools like df, du, htop, tmux, and memory management modules
• Support blockchain, Hashgraph, and distributed/decentralized technology initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of systems administration and DevOps experience
• Expert proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu/Debian preferred)
• Expert containerization skills (Docker)
• Expert cloud service platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Expert project management (Jira)
• Intermediate Python/Bash scripting
• Intermediate systems engineering
• Kubernetes experience
• Helm charts experience
• Ansible experience
• Server software configuration (NGINX preferred, Apache acceptable)
• RDBMS knowledge
• LAN/ISP hosting understanding
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Nice-to-Haves

• AWS certification

• Experience with Time Series Databases (TSDB)
• Blockchain or distributed technology background
