Senior Fullstack Software Engineer - JavaScript / TypeScript

Role Overview

Senior Fullstack Software Engineer responsible for writing efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code while setting an example for other engineers. You will serve as a subject matter expert, mentor less experienced engineers, and work closely with lead designers and architects to drive product forward while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on system architecture decisions, ensuring technical direction aligns with business goals
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers
• Share technical knowledge and help junior and mid-level engineers grow through constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless software delivery and cross-departmental alignment
• Break down complex tasks into manageable components and distribute work among team members
• Play a key role in agile processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, task prioritization)
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including product managers, designers, and clients
• Handle complex technical challenges and resolve issues beyond junior engineers' scope
• Participate in on-call rotation supporting the "you build it you own it" culture

Required Technologies

Primary: TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Python, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Kinesis, API Gateway, Step Functions), Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless

Secondary: Redis, NoSQL, SOAP/REST APIs, AWS SageMaker, Glue, Microsoft SQL Server

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience developing in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node.js
