Role Overview

Join Fabriq as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to tackle complex technical and product challenges with significant organizational impact. Work remotely with optional in-person collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex end-to-end systems with emphasis on code quality and architecture
• Lead delivery of new features while improving robustness, performance, and overall product quality
• Collaborate with the team to identify and propose improvements to existing systems, considering business context
• Drive technical excellence and raise the overall quality level of the product
• Take ownership of problems from business context through production delivery

Required Experience & Skills

• Deep full-stack experience: Design, build, and maintain complex systems end-to-end
• Software engineering fundamentals: Architecture, data and domain modeling, performance, scalability, security, testing, and reliability
• Decision-making ability: Raise trade-offs, make decisions, and act in ambiguous or high-pressure contexts
• Software craftsmanship: Strong convictions about high-quality code; experience with TDD, DDD, or Extreme Programming required
• Balance of theory and pragmatism: Know the theory but optimize for real-world outcomes; move fast without breaking things
• Lean mindset: Favor small batches, incremental delivery, and continuous improvement; minimize work in progress
• Ownership mentality: Question existing implementations and proactively propose better alternatives
• Product sense: Understand business context and consistently take ownership of reliable solutions
