Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

You'll be the second UI developer on Level's product team, working on a complex RMM platform that manages distributed device networks. This is a high-ownership role with significant surface area and fast-paced development.

Key Responsibilities

• Build interfaces that surface real-time data across distributed device networks reliably and at scale
• Develop WebRTC peer-to-peer remote control interfaces enabling low-latency device management across unpredictable networks
• Create a visual automation engine UI allowing IT teams to build complex, multi-step workflows
• Help shape and ship the AI virtual technician interface from the ground up
• Contribute to dashboards, data visualization, forms, real-time updates, and other product features
• Own the entire frontend surface area alongside one other developer

Requirements

• Deep, senior-level JavaScript and frontend experience
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and GraphQL
• Strong ability to work independently and self-manage without supervision
• Experience with AI tools (Codex, Claude, etc.) and ability to evaluate/fix their output
• Strong async communication skills and ability to write clearly
• Ability to context-switch across diverse technical challenges
• At least 5 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time (9am–5pm ET) for international candidates
