About the role

Overview

A hands-on DevSecOps / Infrastructure Security Engineer role focused on designing, securing, and scaling modern cloud infrastructure. This position emphasizes building secure systems from the ground up rather than auditing or advisory work.

Responsibilities

Design and secure infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Pulumi
Strengthen Kubernetes (K8s) security, reliability, and observability
Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
Partner with engineering teams to improve secure development practices
Identify and remediate infrastructure and application security risks

Requirements

Strong production experience with Node.js
Deep experience with GCP
Hands-on experience with Pulumi or similar IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
Solid production Kubernetes (K8s) experience
Proven DevSecOps experience (balancing security and engineering)
Ability to operate independently and deliver in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

Experience in high-growth or scaling environments
Background in infrastructure security or platform engineering
Familiarity with compliance/security frameworks (ISO, SOC2, etc.)
