Senior DevOps Engineer with Go/Python Development Experience

About the Role

Lead and implement DevOps practices while leveraging strong programming expertise to build automation tools, improve infrastructure, and enhance system reliability across Corva's global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across multiple environments (all major clouds and self-hosted)
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern tooling and GitOps approaches
  • Build Kubernetes operators and custom solutions using Go and Python
  • Lead CI/CD implementation and continuous improvement efforts
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security using modern stacks and OpenTelemetry
  • Design and implement scalable and resilient architecture solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues
  • Establish best practices for infrastructure management and security
  • Mentor junior team members on DevOps practices and technologies

Core Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT operations, systems engineering, or similar roles
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience in Go and/or Python
  • Strong experience with GitOps and infrastructure as code tools (ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform)
  • Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Concourse)
  • Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus Stack, OpenTelemetry)
  • Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of database administration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with message brokers and event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Familiarity with service mesh concepts (Envoy, Istio, Linkerd)
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
