Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

Senior Data Analyst with 12+ years of IT experience to support data quality initiatives, master data governance, data integration, and analytical reporting across business functions. This is a remote W2 position requiring exceptional attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data quality initiatives and master data governance programs
• Develop and maintain data integration efforts and analytical reporting
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, Business, and Governance teams
• Document requirements through BRDs, FRDs, user stories, data mapping, and lineage documentation
• Conduct data profiling, optimization, and complex dataset analysis

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of IT experience with 3–8+ years as Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar role
• SQL: Advanced proficiency (joins, CTEs, window functions, data profiling, optimization)
• Master Data Management (MDM): Hands-on experience with data quality, master data domains, match/merge, hierarchy management
• Data Platforms: Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata, or BigQuery
• Healthcare Domain: Required experience in both Payer and Provider segments
• ETL: Familiarity with data integration pipelines and concepts
• Excel: Strong skills; Power BI/Tableau exposure preferred
• Data Governance: Knowledge of governance principles and metadata management
• Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt)
• Python or SQL scripting for automation
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
• Experience in healthcare, finance, retail, or manufacturing data
