Cloud Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

Full-time permanent position working 100% remote (anywhere in USA). You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud environments, with a focus on automation, consulting, and cloud solutions planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain cloud solutions across Azure and AWS
• Automate cloud-related tasks and service deployment/maintenance
• Maintain cloud environments and optimize performance
• Communicate with customers and resolve complex production issues
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies
• Define user access controls, manage permissions, and implement security measures
• Monitor database health and resolve database-related errors
• Apply software updates and patches for compatibility and security
• Read and troubleshoot code

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure-related roles
• 4+ years building, delivering, and managing public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and DevOps technologies
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Ability to read and write complex scripts for system deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Strong communication skills and ability to resolve complex issues
• Experience with source code management tools
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Managed Services experience (ITSM & ITIL)
• Valid certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle cloud
