About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Cloud Consultant - DevOps, you will play a key role in implementing complex cloud projects, taking responsibility for technical architecture and cloud solution implementation for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Consulting & Architecture

Comprehensively advise customers on technical aspects of cloud solutions including infrastructure, security, scalability, and performance
Develop innovative and scalable cloud architectures tailored to specific customer requirements

Implementation & Operations

Implement and operate cloud solutions based on AWS
Configure, optimize, and monitor cloud infrastructures
Ensure smooth operation and performance of deployed solutions

Pre-sales & Customer Acquisition

Support sales team in pre-sales activities
Present cloud solution advantages to potential customers
Inspire prospects with technical expertise and passion for cloud technologies

Knowledge Transfer

Share cloud expertise through workshops and training courses
Contribute to continuous team development and internal cloud competence building

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant STEM field
Minimum 2 years of IT industry experience, ideally with cloud technology focus
At least 2 years of hands-on AWS experience with familiarity of key cloud services and tools
Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, virtualization, and containerization
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, TypeScript, etc.)
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Pulumi)
IT project management experience with knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
Fluent English communication skills; German is a plus
Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Strong learning mindset and curiosity for new technologies

Nice-to-Haves

AWS Solution Architect certification or readiness to obtain one
German language proficiency
