About the Role
Reverse Logistics Manager leading the implementation of Wing's multi-year strategic circular economy roadmap. This remote U.S.-based position focuses on transforming the Reverse Logistics department into a strategic engine for sustainability and profitability through end-to-end management of high-complexity hardware return and recovery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the departmental roadmap, including component reuse initiatives and global rollout of new product recovery operations
- Lead recurring synchronization meetings and drive accountability across Legal, Regulatory Policy, Reliability Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve critical program blockers
- Partner with IT to develop and implement robust Information System support, replacing manual tracking with automated, real-time data visibility for high-volume asset flows
- Manage timeline for international initiatives, including regional recycling programs, ROI analysis for new markets, and onboarding of Third-Party Service Providers (3PSPs)
- Define and standardize end-to-end manufacturing process documentation to satisfy stringent quality and regulatory requirements
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to intellectual property protection, trade compliance, and sub-assembly life-limit tracking
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, or Operations with proven focus on Reverse Logistics, Hardware Refurbishment, or Asset Recovery
- Functional understanding of electro-mechanical assembly, Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Experience working within highly regulated environments (aerospace, automotive, or medical devices) and familiarity with global environmental compliance standards (WEEE, Battery Directives)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements into executive-level communications and drive consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities
- Strong financial acumen with ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and improve unit economics and "landed cost" metrics
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
