REMOTE - Junior DevOps Engineer I (Contingent)

Role Overview

Azure DevOps Engineer to build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines supporting modern application development. You'll work across Azure environments, supporting automation, monitoring, and secure delivery practices that keep applications reliable, scalable, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure in Azure environments
• Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines
• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions
• Manage containerized applications and orchestration
• Set up monitoring and observability systems
• Integrate security scanning and compliance into deployment pipelines
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable application delivery

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with Azure services and administration
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS preferred)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team collaboration
• Bachelor's degree
• U.S. work authorization (may require U.S. citizenship and security clearance for federal contract roles)

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace)
