QA Engineer - DevOps

Role Overview

QA Engineer responsible for planning, executing, and documenting initial testing for DevOps-delivered internal-use software enhancements. This role focuses on functional, integration, and release readiness validation to ensure software quality before go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices linked to development requirements
• Execute initial functional and integration tests for defined releases and capture test evidence
• Validate AI-assisted code outputs to ensure behavior aligns with acceptance criteria
• Document defects, support triage during development-stage testing, and verify fixes before production
• Support release readiness sign-off for initial go-live and enhancement releases

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience with web and/or platform applications
• Experience writing test plans/cases and executing functional and integration testing
• Familiarity with defect tracking workflows and release readiness practices
• Ability to document test evidence clearly for auditability and stakeholder review

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation tools and CI-integrated test execution
• Experience validating data-intensive or AI/ML-enabled features
• Familiarity with API testing and integration validation

Success Measures

Approved test plans/cases, documented test evidence for each release, reduced production defect leakage, and clear traceability between acceptance criteria, executed tests, and sign-off.
