Product Owner - Specialty Pharmacy Software
Role Overview
This Product Owner role is responsible for product planning and execution of new and existing specialty pharmacy software products. You will serve as the bridge between the Product Manager and the delivery team, aligning both parties toward common business goals. This position reports to the Director of Product Management at AssistRx and is located in Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine current and future customer needs through market research techniques
- Develop and prioritize user stories aligned with business and product strategy
- Write user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Groom and prioritize the product backlog; act as the voice of the customer
- Work closely with the design team on user experience and interface
- Champion a user-centered design process throughout the organization
- Conduct user focus groups and develop usability test criteria
- Identify and manage potential integration partnerships with external applications
- Track, anticipate, and propose likely industry developments to stay ahead of customer needs
- Serve as an expert on product delivery and services
- Facilitate communications throughout the product development lifecycle
- Lead interactions across AssistRx teams (development, marketing, support) to ensure coordination
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, MIS, or computer science (preferred)
- Experience: 2-4 years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst

- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to understand diverse viewpoints and build consensus
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced organization
