About the role

Role Overview

Join ClassDojo as a Product Manager focused on the Districts product line. You'll be responsible for critical district workflows and features that unlock partnerships, enable scaled adoption, and drive retention. This is a hands-on role where you'll discover user needs, build with the team, and partner with GTM to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go deep on critical district workflows (e.g., school-wide and district-wide points and communications, rostering) to make them smooth, reliable, and lovable
  • Break big problems into small releases and figure out how to measure what matters early
  • Define clear success metrics, design adoption funnels, and continuously improve adoption, activation, engagement, and retention
  • Work with GTM, CS, and Support on launches to ensure stakeholders are enabled and districts see the value
  • Make district features and their adoption a flywheel for bottoms-up growth in teacher signups and activation
  • Enable the ecosystem by building platform capabilities that let districts/schools and third parties build on Dojo
  • Identify district roles (CIO, Communications, Curriculum, Data/IT, Security, Superintendents, Principals) and map their jobs-to-be-done to the product
  • Drive decisions on difficult trade-offs between improving existing features and supporting GTM with new capabilities
  • Articulate value to district leaders, helping them understand community-building benefits in relation to important outcomes
  • Orchestrate high-stakes district transitions with low friction, high trust, and strong post-launch engagement

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management with proven success shipping products in enterprise or education workflows
  • District/IT stakeholder exposure is a plus
  • Proven ability to define MVPs and break down complex problems
  • Bias to action and hands-on approach to user discovery
  • Ability to align cross-functional partners on complex enterprise workflows
  • Strong understanding of adoption funnels, metrics definition, and retention strategies
