Product Manager, Acquisitions Decisioning at Mission Lane (remote, United States; anywhere in the world). Impact
- Continuously refine the real-time decisioning infrastructure.
- Bridge credit policy and technical execution to build a scalable, secure, and efficient decisioning platform.
- Help enable faster model deployment, lower data costs, and safe scaling by reducing fraud.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for the post-application decisioning engine, translating strategy into technical requirements and user stories.
- Partner with Data, Credit, and Engineering to operationalize underwriting models and ensure business logic is correctly implemented in platform features.
- Optimize a portfolio of third-party data integrations to balance approval accuracy, unit economics, and data costs.
- Collaborate with Fraud Operations to implement real-time defenses against synthetic fraud and identity theft.
- Monitor platform health for high availability, low latency, and accurate error handling while maintaining a seamless customer experience.
Requirements (Minimum)
- 3+ years of product management experience focused on backend decisioning systems.

- Proficiency in SQL for querying data, investigating decision logs, and analyzing funnel performance.
- Track record managing complex projects with dependencies across multiple teams.
- Experience designing and running A/B tests.
- Strong analytical skills using data to drive decisions and measure success.
Preferred
- Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services.
- Experience with platform products involving data exchange and API integrations (vs. UI-heavy products).
