About the role
Role Overview
Join DataAnnotation as a Product Designer to help train and improve AI models' understanding of design work. You'll assess and enhance how AI systems understand, generate, and evaluate interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences. Your design expertise will directly shape how the next generation of AI tools supports designers.
Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance
- Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design
- Provide detailed feedback on AI outputs to refine the model's understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality
Qualifications
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- Bachelor's degree (current, in progress, or completed) - preferred but not required
Work Arrangement
- Full-time or part-time remote position
- Choose which projects you want to work on
- Work on your own schedule
- Independent contractor position
Compensation
- General AI training projects: $20+ USD/hr
- Design-focused projects: $40+ USD/hr
- Bonuses available for exceptional work
- Payment via PayPal with automatic currency conversion from USD
