Product Design System Expert Evaluator (US-Remote)

Role Overview

Contra Labs is seeking design system experts to evaluate and provide feedback on design outputs from next-generation creative AI tools. You'll work on a research project for a top Design company, assessing design system adherence and implementation quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate design outputs for design system adherence, specifically Google's Material Design
• Provide precise, actionable feedback on design system quality
• Assess user experience implementations in provided design outputs
• Make professional decisions about design system implementation in AI-generated designs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping designs to production
• Experience working with and adhering to design systems (specifically Google's Material Design)
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe tools
• Ability to give precise, actionable feedback
• Design system quality feedback experience
• User experience feedback experience
• US-based (required)
• Complete Contra profile with at least 4 examples of original work
• Must pass a paid assessment before offer extension

Contract Details

• Minimum commitment: 20 hours per week (up to 40 hours available)
• Minimum contract duration: 3 months with potential for extension
• Contract extensions depend on project needs and status
