Platform Engineer (DevOps)

Overview

Join us as a Platform Engineer to build an automated, scalable, and resilient internal developer platform. We're transitioning from manual interventions to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enabling engineering teams to deploy with confidence and speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform to version, version control, and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring repeatability and immutability.
• Orchestration & Containers: Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments, including cluster health, scaling, and container security.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design and refine automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Codefresh to minimize time to production.
• Self-Service Tooling: Build scripts and internal tools (Bash/Python) that empower developers to self-provision infrastructure within safe, pre-defined guardrails.
• System Reliability: Ensure distributed systems operate efficiently with strong load balancing and performance tuning.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles in high-availability environments.
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Core Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Scripting: Fluency in Bash (required); Python or Node.js experience is a significant advantage.
• Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of distributed systems, load balancing, and performance tuning.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Python or Node.js scripting.
• Background in Agile environments with automation-first practices.
