Mobile Software Engineer

Role Overview

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms in a fully remote, fast-paced environment. This contract position offers autonomy and flexibility while contributing to a critical product initiative for a globally recognized organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications (iOS or Android)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs, and third-party systems
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, performant, and maintainable mobile code
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues, bugs, and system bottlenecks
• Contribute to architectural decisions and promote best practices in mobile development
• Ensure application scalability, security, and optimal performance across devices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in native mobile development (iOS or Android)
• iOS track: Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and iOS SDK/design guidelines
• Android track: Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, and modern architecture components
• Proven experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or complex backend systems
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization, debugging, and testing practices
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks independently in remote environment

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter)
• Enterprise environment experience
