[Mission] Développeur(se) full-stack Django expérimenté(e), sur un produit à impact environnemental – Envergo/Réglementation Nitrates

Role Overview

Full-stack Django developer for Envergo, an environmental impact product within the beta.gouv.fr ecosystem. You will manage product evolution by participating in design and development of new features on both frontend and backend, working collaboratively with the technical team, designers, and product owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new features across the full stack (frontend and backend)
• Advise the team on technical challenges and guide technology choices
• Maintain a healthy and productive development environment
• Provide technical support to the broader team as needed
• Participate in security audits, accessibility reviews, and compliance initiatives
• Ensure site availability and technical reliability (hosting, deployment, server administration, security)
• Contribute to team processes and product organization

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience in collaborative product environments with rapid iteration cycles and frequent deployments
• Comfortable mastery of Envergo's tech stack (Django, Git, PostGIS)
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
• Commitment to code quality and development best practices
• Attention to cross-functional concerns: performance, usability, security, accessibility
• Expertise with test-driven development (unit tests, end-to-end tests, CI/CD)
• Experience collaborating with other developers, designers, and product owners
• Collaborative mindset with ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Pragmatic problem-solving approach with preference for simplicity
• Ability to propose technical or functional alternatives to simplify workflows
• Self-directed and curious learner
• Interest in understanding user needs and team objectives

Work Arrangement

• Status: Freelance (self-employed or company structure, supported by a portage company)
• Schedule: Approximately 4 days per week
• Remote: 100% remote with occasional team meetings in Paris or elsewhere
• Time Off: Flexible breaks following a quarterly agreed budget
• Start Date: April 2026
