About the role
Role Overview
Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for supporting the R&D department and SaaS product deployment/maintenance. You will lead a small team, focusing on Developer Experience systems, workflow automation, and accelerating delivery cycles while fostering a culture of cloud excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain DevOps solutions and cloud infrastructure
- Review current environment and improve build systems for automated building and publishing
- Lead a small team with focus on mentoring and coaching for career development
- Implement strong CI/CD processes for fully automated release processes
- Enhance collaboration and automate workflows across development teams
- Champion DevOps best practices and drive a culture of automation and efficiency
- Take ownership of DevOps within development teams
Requirements
- Degree in software engineering or related discipline
- Several years of experience in a similar lead DevOps role
- AWS Certification (one or more disciplines, preferably DevOps or Cloud Architecture)
- Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools: CircleCI, Jenkins, Travis CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Proven experience managing direct reports
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach team members for career development

- Experience with multiple CI/CD platforms
