About the role

Role Overview

Lead a team of DevOps specialists at Tether, a global fintech pioneer in blockchain and stablecoins. This is a 100% remote position responsible for architecting and maintaining critical infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of DevOps specialists, promoting best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  • CI/CD Pipeline Design: Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for rapid and reliable software delivery
  • Infrastructure & Deployment: Deploy and manage critical infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect issues and maintain system health
  • Testing & Quality: Design and enforce test-driven deployment systems with automated testing at every stage
  • System Administration: Oversee server system administration including configuration, monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Dev, QA, and Management teams to enhance deployment quality and stability
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, evaluate new DevOps tools, and integrate best practices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure roles
  • 2-3 years in a leadership or technical lead capacity
  • Expert-level expertise in Docker: image creation, registry management, and orchestration patterns
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript package management and NPM publishing workflows, including semantic versioning
  • Strong Linux system administration and networking knowledge
  • Experience automating mobile app build processes
  • Excellent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tooling
  • Experience with deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts
