Role Overview

Join Rail Europe as a Lead Designer to shape the digital experience across B2C, B2B, and Provider Integration platforms. This is a senior role combining hands-on design leadership with team mentorship in a product-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex design work across multiple platforms (B2C, B2B, Provider Integration)
• Own end-to-end design processes from discovery through delivery on key initiatives
• Ensure consistency and clarity of user experience across consumer, professional, and provider environments
• Lead and mentor 3 Product Designers, setting standards for execution and delivery
• Own the evolution and enhancement of the existing Design System
• Translate business objectives into clear, scalable user experiences
• Structure complex user journeys into scalable UI solutions

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design
• Strong hands-on experience delivering complex digital products from discovery to delivery
• Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor while leading others
• Experience working with and evolving a Design System
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering in a structured delivery environment
• Ability to use research and analytics to support business impact
• Clear communication and cross-functional alignment skills
• Strong ownership mindset and comfort operating in a multi-product environment
