About the role

Role Overview

We're seeking a Javascript Engineer to work on our Digital Behavioral Intelligence platform. You'll be an energetic JavaScript expert who enjoys challenging problems and values collaboration with industry experts. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a rapidly growing startup working at the intersection of web and AI.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain our JavaScript behavioral collection library embedded in customer web applications
Work directly with Account Management, Solutions Engineers, and customers to understand requirements and facilitate integration
Troubleshoot customer issues and provide technical support
Develop web technologies and applications to help customers leverage behavioral AI and data
Provide feature development and bug fixes for our JavaScript library and related technologies
Assist with presales and post-sales processes, including building demos
Evaluate and test new technologies to enhance offerings
Perform performance and reliability testing
Work across the technology, data science, and management teams

Technical Context

Our solution leverages:

JavaScript library for behavior capture (100's of millions of data points daily)
AWS platform with serverless, container-based architecture
S3/Glue/Athena data lake
Real-time PostgreSQL RDS service
Multiple data stores and service-based architecture

Requirements

5+ years of JavaScript experience with multiple front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, Ember, Meteor, etc.)
4-year computer science or related degree (highly recommended; may be waived with relevant experience)
Strong mathematics and problem-solving skills
Experience with back-end APIs and programming
Comfortable in fast-paced, unstructured environments
Self-motivated, proactive, organized, with willingness to learn
Eagerness to wear multiple hats and support teammates

Nice-to-Have

Customer-facing experience (internal or external)
Machine Learning or Data Science experience
Database and SQL experience
