About the role
Role Overview
JavaScript Developer to join an international team producing scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, collaborating on web applications across architecture, design, development, launching, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive UIs with React using Next.js and Astro
- Handle real-time data updates, fast user interactions, and complex states
- Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship features quickly
- Write clean, maintainable code with focus on performance and scalability
- Contribute to shared component library and design system
- Develop and evolve design systems following modern high-quality development practices
- Participate in on-call shift rotation
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of modern frontend engineering experience with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and advanced CSS
- Proven track record designing and scaling high-performance, real-time web applications (trading platforms, betting systems, live dashboards)
- Strong architectural understanding of state management, performance optimization, rendering strategies, and frontend scalability
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or Astro, including SSR, ISR, routing strategies, and performance tuning
- Experience building and maintaining WebSocket-driven systems and handling complex real-time data synchronization
- Design system experience: designing, evolving, or contributing to component architecture, theming, accessibility, and developer experience
- Comfortable owning and improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment workflows
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and influence frontend architecture
- Flexible to work across different time zones
- B2 English level and ability to communicate in both Spanish and English

- Understanding of event-driven systems, live odds updates, or real-time event tracking
