Javascript Developer

Role Overview

Senior JavaScript Developer position for an enterprise-scale organization's Digital Technology team. This role focuses on developing, enhancing, and supporting mission-critical JavaScript applications deployed across plant and transportation networks, primarily on iPad and iPhone devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support features across mission-critical warehouse and transportation management applications
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned application areas including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Proactively identify system improvements, technical debt, and operational risks
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure reliable application performance on iPad/iPhone devices in operational environments
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to other developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal operational disruption
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, scalability, and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (Nuxt, Vue, Svelte, etc.)
• Working familiarity with Docker, Git, and AWS in enterprise application environments
• Prior experience with Firestore or other real-time databases
• Proven experience developing and supporting production-grade, enterprise applications
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with testing tools (Vitest, Playwright, Jest)
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools for code generation and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with Vue.js and Nuxt frameworks
• Experience developing hybrid applications (e.g., Capacitor) for tablet/mobile (iPad/iOS)
• Experience in large, distributed enterprise environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment models
• Experience with Angular
