Java Software Engineer

Role Overview

Entry-level full-time position for a Java Developer to join a dynamic development team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using core Java and object-oriented programming principles
• Assist in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and DevOps
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Support application deployment and post-production maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong understanding of Core Java, OOP concepts, and data structures
• Basic knowledge of frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Exposure to version control systems like Git
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in Java development
• Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture
