IT SCRUM Master

Overview

The IT Scrum Master is responsible for championing Agile methodologies and fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and efficient project delivery. This role serves as a facilitator, coach, and leader for Agile teams, ensuring they adhere to Agile principles and practices while guiding them through the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrum Facilitation: Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation
• Impediment Removal: Remove impediments and ensure teams remain focused on delivering sprint goals
• Coaching & Training: Coach teams in Agile methodologies and best practices; promote Agile principles within the organization
• Tools & Processes: Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking of user stories and tasks; collaborate with teams to ensure effective tool usage
• Compliance & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliant processes (FDA/CFR, GxP, EMA, MHRA, EU GVP, HIPAA, GDPR); earn trust and influence stakeholders without formal authority
• Team Collaboration: Foster cross-functional collaboration, ensure effective communication and transparency, and facilitate team discussions and decision-making
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and guide teams in implementing changes
• Multitasking: Manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining teamwork and optimal project flow

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, GxP standards)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment preferred
