Head of Design

Role Overview

Head of Design (UI & UX) - Full-time remote position leading the design team and overseeing all design initiatives at Move Solo.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the design team through ideation, creation, and execution of innovative design projects
• Manage the design process across multiple projects and coordinate design workflows
• Steer branding initiatives and ensure cohesive visual and product design standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the aesthetic and functional aspects of features, branding, and user experience
• Translate strategic goals into compelling and functional design concepts

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Design Management, including team coordination and design workflows
• Strong skills in Visual Interface Design and Product Design with focus on user-centric experiences
• Experience in Branding to ensure cohesive identity across channels
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Background in app design
• Proficiency with design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with interface design principles
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field (experience valued equally)
• Experience with startups like Plaid, Anthropic, Meta, Apple, Stripe, Upwork, etc.
