Growth Manager, PLG, Community & Lead Generation

Role Overview

Drive growth across multiple channels by building community, generating leads, and executing product-led growth (PLG) strategies. Work closely with the CRO, Head of Marketing, GTM Lead, and senior freelancers to establish Forest's presence in the AI agent ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Distribution: Distribute Forest's MCP Server and Skills across multiple channels; design and optimize the PLG flywheel; measure conversion rates
• Lead Generation: Generate qualified leads and contribute to sales pipeline; build attribution tracking systems; create lead magnets
• Community & Brand Building: Launch and grow Forest's presence on Twitter/X; engage with fintech/compliance/AI ecosystem; build the CRO's personal brand
• Campaign Execution: Launch and manage campaigns on Product Hunt, HackerNews, and Reddit with measurable results
• Content Creation: Produce threads, short videos, memes, hot takes, and product demos at high velocity
• Analytics: Track MQLs per channel, attribution, CAC, and conversion rates; focus on data-driven metrics over vanity metrics

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Deep understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and the AI agent ecosystem (Claude, GPT, Dust, n8n, Cursor)
• Proven track record building and growing communities from scratch (Discord, Slack, Twitter)
• Native-level Twitter/X presence with ability to engage, build relationships, and create conversations
• Experience launching successful Product Hunt, HackerNews, and Reddit campaigns
• Fast content creation capability
• Data-driven approach with focus on meaningful metrics (MQLs, attribution, CAC, conversion rates)
• EU-based location
• English native or near-native speaker; French a plus

Ideal Background

• Former DevRel or community builder from developer-tools startup (Vercel, Supabase, Prisma, Linear, Loom)
• Growth experience at regtech or fintech company (ComplyAdvantage, Sardine, Swan, Qonto, Alan)
• PLG growth manager with marketplace and directory distribution experience
• Head of Community at product-led startup that achieved Product Hunt #1 ranking
