Role Overview
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang. Own and implement features across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust microservices architectures leveraging Goroutines and Go concurrency patterns
- Own features from inception through deployment and production support
- Integrate with PostgreSQL databases, optimizing queries for performance and consistency
- Work with Azure Cloud services (Azure Service Bus, Azure Monitor, Azure API Management)
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-native)
- Implement effective error logging, observability using Kafka, Grafana, and Azure monitoring stacks
- Write and maintain unit tests; participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code
- Collaborate with DevOps and Product teams to ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines and production readiness
- Contribute to design and architectural decisions; identify opportunities for codebase improvement and technical debt reduction
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Golang development
- Strong understanding of Go language internals, interfaces, structs, and package design
- Proven experience with PostgreSQL database schema design and query tuning
- 3+ years of work experience with Azure API Management and Custom Software Development
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications
- Familiarity with Kafka, Grafana, and distributed tracing concepts
- Experience building production-grade applications from the ground up
- Ability to design services with proper layering and clean separation of concerns
- Experience with hybrid deployments (on-prem + cloud) and DevSecOps pipelines
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis skills
- Strong communication skills and ownership mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with CQRS and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Familiarity with gRPC, Protobuf, or GraphQL
- Microsoft Azure certification or related cloud platform certifications
- Immediate availability to start
