Fullstack Software Engineer

Role Overview

Join Wooclap as a Senior Fullstack Engineer, playing a critical role in shaping how users discover, adopt, and continuously use the platform. You'll work in cross-functional product squads, own features end-to-end, and make a meaningful impact on millions of students and learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain fullstack features used daily by thousands of teachers and students
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to simplify complex user flows
• Contribute to architectural decisions and own features end-to-end, from technical design to production
• Drive product-first thinking and own problems, not just implement specs

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong fullstack engineer experience in a SaaS or product-driven company
• Experience working in cross-functional squads or product teams
• Clear communication skills with PMs, designers, and engineers
• Commitment to maintainable, clean, and tested code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-growth SaaS or B2B product environments
• Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB or similar)
• Building or contributing to design systems or shared frontend components
• Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• RESTful API design and maintenance experience
• Real-time systems experience (websockets, events, live updates)
• Mentoring or technical leadership experience
