Fullstack Engineer

About The Role

Join Rain as a Fullstack Engineer focused on building and maintaining the rewards and co-brand platform. You will develop and expand third-party rewards programs, primarily with major league sports partners, while embedding innovative payment solutions into applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance products across the technology stack, focusing on rewards programs and payment integrations
• Take ownership of technical stack and codebases governing third-party rewards and co-branded payment initiatives
• Design, implement, and optimize smart contract interactions across multiple blockchain chains
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed new payment solutions and features
• Contribute to and influence the technical and product roadmap for Rain's rewards platforms
• Participate in architectural decisions to support growth and scalability
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards through rigorous testing and review
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Node.js (experience with a subset acceptable)
• Strong understanding of web development best practices and architecture
• Experience working with blockchain technology and smart contract interactions across multiple chains
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proactive builder mentality with passion for experimentation

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with fintech products, especially neobanks or card issuing platforms
• Familiarity with decentralized applications (dApps)
• Side project experience demonstrating technical curiosity
