Full Stack Application Developer

Role Overview

Lead Full Stack Application Developer at BLN24, a strategic leadership position responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end software solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the architecture and implementation of the client's web platform, covering front-end, APIs, data layers, and cloud services
• Conduct design reviews and code reviews to uphold high coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate policy guidance into scalable, user-centric technical solutions
• Implement modern CI/CD pipelines, automate testing, and incorporate observability and security-by-design principles
• Guide backlog refinement, address technical debt, and optimize platform performance using Agile methodologies
• Mentor developers through pairing, feedback, and personalized growth plans
• Oversee cloud deployment strategies, including infrastructure-as-code, cost management, and deployment strategies (blue/green and canary releases)
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards (Section 508 and NIST standards)
• Promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of professional software development experience
• At least 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior developer role
• Extensive experience with backend development using Drupal 10 (PHP) and custom module creation
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks
• Hands-on experience deploying applications within FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins preferred)
• Deep knowledge of security protocols: HSTS, SSL/TLS, and security-by-design principles
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and team collaboration skills
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment strategies
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and accessibility standards
