Role Overview

Front-End Web Developer for DoorDash's B2B Marketing Technology team. You'll own front-end development for marketing web properties, creating high-performance, accessible, and scalable web experiences that drive business growth. This role sits at the intersection of design, technology, and marketing, requiring the ability to balance craft with speed while maintaining aggressive growth pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop features and enhancements to marketing sites (merchants.doordash.com, business.doordash.com, dasher.doordash.com) in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
• Own front-end web development projects from scoping through implementation and optimization
• Lead front-end architecture decisions, maintaining component libraries, performance optimization strategies, and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance)
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining brand consistency
• Collaborate with Web Platforms team on CMS integration (Contentful) for seamless content management
• Implement responsive designs with a mobile-first approach across devices and browsers
• Work with Marketing teams to implement tracking and analytics code for user behavior measurement
• Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on front-end best practices
• Partner with Product and Strategy teams to scope initiatives and define technical requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to codebase including performance optimizations and accessibility enhancements
• Stay current with web technologies and bring fresh ideas to enhance marketing websites

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional front-end web development experience, ideally supporting marketing or growth teams
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Expertise in React/Next.js (Vue.js or Angular also considered)
• Experience with TypeScript and modern CSS methodologies (CSS-in-JS, CSS Modules, Tailwind, or similar)
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and experience building inclusive web experiences
• Experience with modern deployment and hosting platforms (Vercel strongly preferred)
• Experience with headless CMS platforms (Contentful strongly preferred) and component-driven content architecture
• Familiarity with Storybook for component development
• Proficiency with modern development workflows: Git, CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite preferred)
