Front End Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Front End Engineer at Files.com owns the frontend layer of the platform, building React-based interfaces that interact with APIs handling hundreds of requests per second. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact position where you'll work across web, desktop, mobile, and internal tools with authority to shape architecture and contribute across the full stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React-based interfaces that power the Files.com platform
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to create intuitive interfaces for complex IT workflows
• Contribute across multiple project areas: web, desktop, mobile, and internal tools
• Own meaningful outcomes and drive technical decisions
• Participate in open-source efforts and contribute to CI/CD improvements
• Write comprehensive tests using Jest and Cypress

Requirements

• Strong frontend expertise with React
• Ability to contribute across the full technology stack
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress preferred)
