About the role
Role Overview
As a Front End Engineer III at CrowdStrike, you'll work on the user interface for the Falcon platform's Cloud Detection Engine. This team builds views that help customers understand and respond to threats in their environments through a unified dashboard that aggregates data from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product team in creating single page applications using Ember while remaining hands-on with coding
- Drive technical decisions around engineering, product direction, and design
- Take ownership of frontend delivery and coordinate with stakeholders on scope and priorities
- Collaborate heavily on design/UX using tools like Figma
- Help define team architecture and standards
- Write automated tests for code
- Work with UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, and UX Writers
- Focus on content management, threat categorization/classification, and routing systems
- Build solutions that handle massive amounts of data while maintaining high-quality user experience
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering expertise with ability to mentor and lead
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember preferred, but React/Angular/Vue experience transfers well)
- Ability to work in distributed, remote-first environment with autonomy
- Sensitivity to user needs and problem-solving in dynamic environments
- Experience with evergreen browsers and modern web platform capabilities
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma
- Experience with large-scale data visualization and handling
- Background in cybersecurity or security products
