Role Overview

Lead a high-performing engineering team building mission-critical software for the healthcare sector. This position combines hands-on engineering with leadership, offering the opportunity to drive technical vision, system design, and delivery of user-facing features while ensuring robust, scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for your team's products, ensuring alignment with business and product goals
• Lead system design, architecture, and technical execution for user-facing features and core platform components
• Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and reliability across production systems
• Translate product requirements into actionable technical plans, managing projects from concept through deployment
• Remove blockers, establish processes, and enable efficient cross-functional collaboration with Product, Data, and other teams
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers, providing clear feedback and fostering professional growth
• Maintain hands-on involvement in coding, code reviews, and architectural discussions to guide the team's technical decisions

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in an engineering management role
• Proven experience leading teams that build end-user facing products with strong focus on usability, performance, and quality
• Hands-on experience with Python, React, and TypeScript, with a track record of shipping production code
• Strong ability to translate product requirements into technical designs and execute projects with high accountability
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts across engineering, product, and leadership teams
• Collaborative mindset with experience building alignment across cross-functional teams
• Strong mentoring skills, capable of growing engineers and fostering a high-performance culture
