Role Overview

Join our team as a Backend Developer. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and backend services, writing clean, testable, and well-documented PHP code, and modeling and optimizing MySQL/MariaDB databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services with clean, testable, and documented PHP code
• Participate in code reviews, technical architecture decisions, and write unit and functional tests
• Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize performance, and improve service resilience and availability

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong PHP expertise and solid knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB
• Rigorous coding practices and strong testing skills
• Good understanding of backend architecture (REST APIs, security, performance)
• Autonomous, curious, and proactive mindset
• Strong teamwork and knowledge-sharing abilities

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Linux environments (Debian)
• GitLab CI/CD experience
• Bash and/or Python automation skills
• Interest in SaaS application optimization and scalability
