🚀 Développeur Backend senior – PHP/Symfony – APIs & Connecteurs.

Role Overview

Join Edflex as a Senior Backend Developer responsible for designing and developing robust APIs, ensuring production application performance and security, and contributing to architectural decisions. You'll work closely with the CTO and Lead Developer, directly impacting product evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and consume robust, maintainable APIs following team standards with regular code reviews
• Ensure performance, security, maintainability, and supervision of production applications; proactively handle identified vulnerabilities
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple stakeholders

Technical Stack

• Language & Framework: PHP 8.3+, Symfony 6.3 (advanced Symfony Messenger expertise required)
• APIs: Design, development, API documentation, Postman
• Async Messaging: RabbitMQ
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Infrastructure: AWS
• Observability: Datadog (logs/metrics), Sentry (exception tracking)
• Testing: PhpUnit (TDD), Behat (BDD)
• Architecture Principles: DDD, Clean Architecture, Command Bus, CQS, Adapter patterns

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to challenge and justify architectural decisions pedagogically
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and AWS applied in daily work
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product/tech collaboration
• Strong team spirit and commitment to mission-driven start-up environment
• Active in knowledge sharing (tech watch, talks, meetups)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with AI agents/assistants (Windsurf, Cursor, etc.) integrated into workflow
• Interest in EdTech sector
• Background in DDD and Clean Architecture patterns
