Role Overview
ServiceNow Developer (T4) supporting mission-critical, secure environments where automation, reliability, and innovation are essential. This is a contract role supporting ongoing platform enhancements and automation initiatives, with possible conversion to permanent hire after 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable solutions within ServiceNow IRM and SPM for customer-facing operations
- Own end-to-end solution delivery, from design through deployment and continuous improvement
- Rapidly design and optimize automated workflows using Flow Designer to reduce manual effort
- Develop customer-facing portals and self-service capabilities
- Integrate ServiceNow with internal and external systems using Integration Hub and REST/SOAP APIs
- Implement and maintain bi-directional data synchronization between ServiceNow and partner systems
- Leverage Now Assist and AI capabilities for intelligent automation and insights
- Create and maintain service catalog items with automated fulfillment workflows
- Design notification and alerting mechanisms to improve communication and service delivery
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions
- Document code, configurations, and solutions
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform releases
Requirements
- MUST be US Citizen with ONLY US citizenship (No Dual Citizens)
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) required
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Strong experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation
- Experience with Integration Hub and REST/SOAP API development (JSON)
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Nice-to-Have
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience with Now Assist and AI-powered automation capabilities
- Experience with bi-directional system integrations
