Role Overview
Join the Enterprise Analytics team as a Data Scientist to contribute to pricing and promotion optimization initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in building machine learning models, performing exploratory analysis, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance machine learning models that support pricing and promotional strategies
- Perform data exploration and analysis to uncover insights that drive business outcomes
- Design scalable, interpretable solutions for retail applications
- Translate analytics into actionable strategies for pricing and promotions
- Monitor, evaluate, and support continuous improvement through scenario planning
- Build automated data pipelines for model refresh and reporting
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to align analytics with business goals
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels) and SQL
- Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning fundamentals, and data wrangling
- Exposure to time series forecasting and basic econometric concepts
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with retail analytics or pricing/promotion modeling
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and deployment pipelines
- Interest in Generative AI applications for retail
