About the role

Role Overview

Lead the deployment of complex healthcare IT projects as a Customer Project Manager. Oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning and budgeting to implementation and go-live—ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans aligned with scope, timelines, resources, risks, and quality standards
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery meets budget, schedule, and quality targets
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs and effort, evaluate feasibility, and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources, including internal teams, external partners, and equipment delivery schedules
  • Oversee system implementation, integration, and go-live activities for successful deployment
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and produce high-quality project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal policies while delivering positive customer experience
  • Identify upsell opportunities and support business growth through successful project delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; OR 9+ years equivalent project/program management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in IT or healthcare IT, including PACS deployment experience
  • Proven track record managing projects end-to-end with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong process orientation, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% across the United States
  • PMI certification required (to be obtained within specified period if not already held)

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with RIS, VNA, and cloud-based healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
