About the role

Role Overview

The Commercial Product Manager owns the complete commercial lifecycle of a product from initial concept through customer adoption and support. This role bridges the revenue side of the business with the product team, ensuring world-class SaaS solutions for order-to-cash processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert and primary liaison between revenue teams and product organization
  • Maintain and prioritize product backlog for clear and efficient sprint planning
  • Evaluate feature requests and enhancement ideas based on market demand, ROI, and client impact
  • Manage product scorecards and track KPIs aligned with business objectives
  • Provide transparent reporting on results and planning initiatives
  • Guide clients on roadmap priorities and value propositions
  • Partner with sales teams to ensure proper product education
  • Collaborate with development and engineering leads during product development
  • Review win/loss analysis reports with product marketing
  • Manage multiple large product initiatives to successful completion
  • Lead release activities from analysis through implementation
  • Conduct user forums, roundtables, and customer outreach sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5+ years of relevant product management experience
  • Ability to successfully manage product backlog in fast-paced environments
  • Understanding of commercial ownership including cost and revenue drivers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Experience with SaaS, online payments, and software-centric businesses
  • Understanding of software solution design
  • Ability to plan future strategy while maintaining current delivery models
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and team orientation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct oversight

  • Experience in financial, payment, or treasury product roles requiring high attention to detail
  • Background in payments or financial software
