Cloud Specialist DevOps

Role Overview

Join Escala 24x7's technology team as a DevOps Cloud Specialist specialized in infrastructure. You'll work with one of Latin America's premier AWS partners, helping enterprise clients accelerate their cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Stay current with AWS service updates and continuously adapt to the evolving cloud platform
Implement and maintain security best practices in complex, dynamic cloud environments
Balance performance and scalability with cost optimization through careful analysis and efficient resource management
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions for complex environments
Diagnose and resolve performance and scalability issues in distributed cloud systems
Foster DevOps culture and collaboration between development and operations teams

Required Qualifications

B2/C1 English proficiency
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Administration, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience with FinOps best practices, financial management, or IT data analysis
Deep AWS knowledge: core services, automation tools, and best practices
Cloud security expertise: ability to implement security strategies, identity/access management, data protection, and incident response
Programming skills: Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET Core for automation and integrations
Serverless development experience: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related technologies
Container management expertise: Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
Observability knowledge: CloudWatch, X-Ray, and performance monitoring tools
Cloud networking: secure, high-performance AWS network design and configuration
FinOps experience: cost analysis and optimization using Cost Explorer and Budgets
Agile and DevOps practices: methodologies and collaborative improvement mindset
Infrastructure as Code mastery: Terraform or CloudFormation for automated infrastructure management
