About the role

Role Overview

The Cloud Engineer (DevOps) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure to support Trafilea's digital transformation. You will work closely with development, security, and data teams to ensure seamless deployment, high availability, and cost-efficient AWS-based cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Optimization

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures
Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance
Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, caching, and other optimization techniques

Security & Compliance

Implement robust security measures including IAM best practices, network security policies, and encryption
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies
Continuously monitor and improve cloud security posture

Automation & DevOps

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation
Automate deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability

Incident Response & Troubleshooting

Identify and resolve cloud-related incidents such as infrastructure failures and performance bottlenecks
Work with development teams to troubleshoot and improve system reliability

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Work closely with developers, security teams, and data engineers to align cloud solutions with business needs
Document cloud architectures, processes, and best practices
Share knowledge and mentor other engineers on cloud best practices
